Anyone else get Dave Henderson shivers watching Albert Pujols's HR with two outs in the ninth and his team trailing in the series 3-1? Here's hoping Lidge doesn't go the Donnie Moore route on this one (though Lidge's pitch was right over the plate, whereas Moore's was down and Henderson got lucky).
With his big swing, Pujols managed to do what Vladdy couldn't: get that clutch hit to give his team a chance. Was it injuries, nerves, or simply lousy hitting that kept Vlad from being a factor in against the Sox? I sure hope it was injuries, but I'm guessing #2 and #3 also contributed. Your thoughts?
