A shield of rain will continue to effect portions of the lower Hudson Valley and northeastern New Jersey and will begin to affect Kings and Queens County through 5:30 PM. The rain will move north northeast and should remain on the light side...with a few embedded pockets of moderate rain. Rain amounts through this time period should only amount to a few hundredths of an inch.
