i thought the point was to score runs before he strikes out with runners in scoring position. with this lineup, the angels will never score!

I think you should've put "hit" in quotation marks, because I'm not convinced that "hitting" would actually happen.

But for arguments sake, let's say he will "hit" those fastballs. I would rather put him #2 and put figgy or ersty at #9. Vlad is The Man, and he must come to the plate as much as possible.
