Thread Topic: Which players on the Angels would you cast as Luke Skywalker and Han Solo?
My Runs 'n Hits Picks for tonight: LAA: 7/12, BOS 2/9
Random selection from my ipod from whence you mightdivine inspiration to underscore a narrative thread about the contest tonight:
What's My Name by The Clash from their self-titled debut
I tried to join a ping-pong club,
sign on the door said all full up!
I got nicked, fighting in the road
and the judge didn't even know
What's my name

Something Wong
Okay, just exactly how wilfully stupid is Rex Hudler? We have to be patient with Finley? Tut-tutting about how people want "instant gratification?" It's August 18, you stupid corksucker!

FINLEY
The Punter, yeah.....
I hate Hudler and Physioc with the fire of all the suns in the known universe. It's as if having to actually do a ball game gets in the way of bouncing kids on their knees and interviewing media ho's for Fox bullshit. Gah. Fire them both, stat.
It's hard to imagine but the Angels once had Dick Engberg (in his prime) and Don Drysdale calling games. Now these two asshats are doing it.
Hate and war
I hate Physioc
Hate and war
He's just as bad Rex
Hate and war
I hate all their talking
Hate and war
I wouldn't even have sex
Hate and war
With either of those gasbags
Hate and war
Who piss me off so bad
Hate and war
I just wish they'd shut the fuck up
Hate and war
They're really, really sad
Sorry, "sex" is the only think I could think of that rhymes with "Rex". It scans OK, I guess.
