Steve Finley Swoons
First, it was stupid of Scioscia to have batted FInley as high in the order as he did, jsut as it was stupid to have Vlad and G.A. as low as they were.
But when Jose Molina pinch hit for our $7 million outdfielder Steve Finley with 2 outs in a close game with the bases loaded - I would say that every single person Steve Finley knows now considers him a gutless choker.
But let's be positive: We are still in first place, Shields and Frankie are rested and ready now, Tampa Bay is coming in for the weekend and it appears Ervin Santana's rowdy family was not ejected from his home stadium this afternoon, but I have not scoured the Anaheim police blotter to confirm that final item.

I have a feeling...

out of their minds
From the Mayor of Shit-Town
Wayne's favorite player GA, whom i refer to as Cadillac is officially on the Shit List. On O Cab's error (which i disagree with the scoring) GA is was jogging/escalading to the ball. OCab lost it in the sun and probably ran about twenty yards farther-towards our left fielder-then Senor Escalade did. Once it richocheted off of OCab did we see Cadillac get moving. By that time two runs have scored and the batter was going for a triple... yes a triple because GA half-ass, end of the inning jog to the pop up. Adding the Cherry to sundae, Cadillac, GA, Escalade three hopped a ball to third base with said better being called safe and getting a triple.
I have officially lost my mind.
Cupie
GA should have called OC off on that ball
