Jered Weaver in Cardinal Red
Does this bother anyone else?
The constant FOX shots of Jered Weaver, covered in St. Louis Cardinal gear, literally from head to freaking toe.
Maybe I'm just incensed to see that that pile of crap Jeff Weaver is winning a World freaking Series for the Cards... but it bothers me to see lil Weaver dressed up like a Cardinal.
Or maybe I should ask... what bothers you more?
Seeing Jered dressed like a Cardinal or seeing Jeff pitch 8 innings, 1 earned run, 4 hits, 9 Ks?

How about all of it?
Edmonds running in from CF
A catcher named Molina leaping into the arms of the pitcher.
Spiezio and his red goatee
And Eckstein dressed in red with the wrong logo on his hat.
Last year it was Bobby Jenks getting the last out of the season. This year it's WTE winning the clinching game. What's next? Alexi Casilla driving in the winning run for Minnesota?
Aaaarrrgh!

I'm Likely Alone On This.....
And congrats to Spiezio and especially Eckstein. All that boy Eck does is WIN. Somebody pease tell me why he's not still an Angel. MVP of the World Series. If Eck wants to be a manager someday, I hope it's for the team I'm rooting for.

Congratulations to the Cardinals and Mr. Eckstein
Nothing can overcome the bitterness of Weaver though. That just hurts so much. This guy almost single handidly ruined our entire season. I think the guy started out 1-7 or something like that for us, with an ERA of infinity. Then, on top of that, we dump him and he starts out just continuing to suck ass with the Cardinals. Worthless.
Watching him in the postseason has been trying, to say the least. To see him celebrating, after what he contributed to our team this year is sickening.
It's one of those freak circumstances that can happen from time to time, and unfortuantely right now is one of those times.
At least now we can move on. That's the other positive about tonight. This cruddy season is over, and it's time to break out the whipping stick and the big fat checkbook. Time for the Angels to start improving the club.
Things can finally get started tomorrow. Here we go.
