Garcia for Santana?
http://www.suntimes.com/sports/deluca/139850,CST-SPT-deluca17.article
Someone reporting the idea that Angels swap Garcia for Santana. This just doesn't make any sense to me... The article cited something about Garcia's performance in Angel Stadium, but I don't see that as a valid reason to trade a starting pitcher who has worked for us.
Maybe someone can clue me in...?

Absolute Joke
Except for Callaspo/Bulger
I read this earlier today, too, and just shook my head. Dunno who thought this was a reasonable trade, but it seemed like they were implying that it would take Santana AND someone else to land Garcia. That's a fuckin' joke.

Different people
How can Santana be traded for a bat
And this guy is a fucking idiot. Seriously, the crap about Garcia's best work being done in Anaheim. Does he realize that means it was done AGAINST the Angels?
So the Angels would trade Santana and another player for a pitcher who is:
- eight years older,
- $8MM more expensive, and
- was just as "good" last year as Santana.
