Could this have been more predictable?

3 year/10 million dollar deal.  Good for them and good for the Cardinals.  Doesn't hurt us either.

I'm very happy for Kennedy.  We obviously had to play Howie, but Adam did a great job for us and I wish him well with Eck, Speizio, and the St Louis Angels of Missouri.

I'd love for them to take a trip to Anaheim next October.

I wonder, Is Kennedy a type A?  We getting draft picks for him?  If so, super sweet!

For Kennedy, so it looks like we get the Cardinal's 1st rounder, probably around pick 20, unless they sign someone else and we get a second rounder.

We've already given up our #1 and #2 so its nice to get something back.

Maybe its a sandwich pick instead of a 1st rounder.  Type A's get both, but we get something.

Type C's now get nothing.

I wish Adam well in St. Louis. Good move by Jockety to pick him up -- he fits in well there and I'm sure Eck will welcome him in. I think he'll have a good season next year.

Kennedy isnt that great anyway.  He was a hell of a player in '02 but he's just another nobody now.
