What the Hell is Brewing??
Since Mono-man is rehabbing in another country, does that mean the Angels aren't going to go after a 1st Baseman?? Would Teixera be an option??
Does anyone have any ideas as to which way Stonedman is going??

re:
what i dislike about stoneman is that he's not a risk-taker. going by various rumors that have floated in the past couple years, he'll wait and wait and wait until a player gets pulled off the table and be left holding onto his precious prospects, like mcpherson, kotchman, mathis, all of whom will probably have very little impact on the angels in their careers. why is it so hard to trade potential for proven players? if it costs 3 prospects to get a manny or jones, then do it. pull the trigger. not every trade turns out like the giants-twins trade of pierzynski, which netted minnesota 3 quality players. for the most part, in a trade such as that, you're lucky if one of the players makes it big. the twins just lucked out big time on that one.
stop being gunshy and get us that bat that we all know we need, billy-boy. i am really hoping your job depends on it.
the pierzynski trade was not luck
Anyone stupid enough to willingly take Pierzynski deserves their treasure stolen, their livestock raped and through the miracle of retrocausality, their World Series hopes dashed in 7 games.
Twins got lucky
Bonser and Liriano might never have made it from pitching prospects, but Joe Nathan was a fine setup man with a 98 mph fastball.
I'm OK with trading prospects if we can net a superstar. I'm not Ok with it just to net ordinary players. We've got enough prospects that some of them are bound to turn into good players.
Odds are we've got at least one major league 1B in Morales, Kotchman, and McPherson. We just don't know who yet.
Its Morales!!! McPhersons platoons @ 3B w/ Figgy!!
agree but
Kotchman>Morales
F+ for effort but sorry wrong answer!!!!!
F + for being biased
Wake me up when Morales has the kind of AAA success that Kotch had.
2004 AA .368/428/544 114 AB's
2004 AAA .372/423/558 199 AB's
2005 he posted a 372 OBP over 363 AB's
The 2004 age 21 season is very similar to Kendrick. I suppose you love Kendrick, is Morales better than Kendrick?
Near future
