AL West Projections

If you're looking for one more look at what players may or may not do in 2006 (for fantasy purposes, or just to see who is where), be sure to check out my 2006 Projections for the AL West. (I have some very positive outlooks for several Angels hitters) It was Part 1 of my Fantasy Perspectives. I'd love to hear your thoughts.

You can find it by going to http://www.sethspeaks.net/012506.htm.

Thanks,

Or...
It is just a fun look at the 2006 team with thoguhts on several members of the Angels team. Not meant as SPAM, just meant to give Angels (and other team's) fans a different look and maybe an outsider's perspective.

If people want to call it SPAM, I'm cool with that. I just hope people enjoy the proejctions.

I don't think it is SAPM
and it IS fun to do projections

But i have noticed that guys who are TOTALLY into baseball projections are the same personality types who (think that they) are very scientific and rational and would poo-poo predictive methods such as astrology or psychic phone readers - so I have fun pointing out that they have a paradox in their belief system that they would NEVER allow to go unnoticed in another person's...

That is all - just jiving the Mister Spocks before they return to the Dungeons and Dragons game.

mine...
A complete guess. I don't claim to know much. I just read all these other people's projections, and really, it's all just a guess. So, I figured I could provide some fun guesses and see what happens. It'll be fun to see how close (or likely... far!) I am from the actual.

Its cool
you don't take the bait like most statheads - they have a high opinion of themselves and cannot handle anyone mocking their sacred numbers.

Rev....
I sensed you mocking statheads...do we need to have a talk again?

Dude,
You know more.

I feel more.

Ha
I'll take that

mocking
I'm actually hoping for some mocking. I enjoy reading more about these players that I watch once in awhile and otherwise just see their numbers.

As for being a stat-head, I don't like to classify myself that way. I believe there is so much more to baseball and winning than even statistics can show. Taht said, they are fun and can say a lot.

Not to shamelessly self-promote, but my blog entry today is actually mocking myself and my predictions. I look at what I predicted from the Twins players last year at this time, for the 2005 season. I wasn't even close!! Well, at least on a few!

You won my respect
Anyone who can say they were wrong with a prediction is better that much better than Miss Clio.

thanks
Not to re-shamelessly plug, but if you read my posting today (www.sethspeaks.net), we look at my Twins predictions from last year. Some were WAY off! Ha! No, I do this for fun and for discussion and as a way to learn more about other team's players (through the discussion). I make no claims of accuracy (although I hope to be somewhat close! Ha!).
