did i tell you the story...
boo. the season's not lost at all
let's remember the last time they played this horribly and lost 6 in a row: 2002.
damn
<looking for Mr. Goodvibes>
Hey Halo Fans.....It's all good baby...
This past week will be a distant memory down the road.
This is the time to have a rut like this. Do it now, get it over with. And then no looking back.
We're dinged up! We're gonna get Juan Rivera back soon, and he's gonna hit. Mathis was sent down, no way Napoli could be worse.
Howie's taking ground balls all over the diamond! This means that Kotchman can sit down and we get another youngster in there to get some AB's and show us he CAN get the job done.
Hell, even Weaver pitched great today! It's a silver lining Wednesday!
We've gotta be resilient through this losing streak.
Don't worry, we're going to get to the other side.
I'm with goodvibes
this is how you hang on for your team? you get an inside fastball and meekly charge the mound because your thin, plastic-plated confidence was challenged?
panthers wait out the rain, then kill something extra when the sun comes out.
bitches.
I'm not giving up you....
We aren't nearly as bad as we were when we were 6-14 in 2002. Things can happen baby! Sosh was supposed to be fired after that start.
We've seen the As do this for years. Mix in the young guys with the vets, weather the storm early then catch on fire a month or two in.
Any true Angels fan older than about 25 isn't the type to give up. Otherwise we would have lost you in the 90s. (unless you 'revived your Angles ties in '02???) There's a waiting list for season tickets, so feel free to jump off, as there are true fans waiting in the wings.
(plus, the As just got rump roasted tonight by Cleveland. 2nd best thing to an Angels win, an Oakland pounding)
PS - Now fire Hatcher and send a message to the coaches that mediocrity isn't acceptable now that we're a high revenue team.
PS II - This doesn't mean you can't bitch, that's what blogs are for, but no reason to give up and no reason to talk worse about our guys than we do about those fags in Oakland, those pricks in Boston, or those pompous mofos in New York) I like Alfonso 100 times more than I like Nick Swisher, Crosby, or any other As player that has ever walked the earth.
that's my point....
Hello?
He's made decision after decision that's backfired this year--the "pull Weaver, bring in Shields" one being the latest bonehead move. At the game I went to on Sunday, he made at least 3 moves that cost the Angels a chance to win. His over-reliance on his stupid pitching formula (starter = 6 innings, then Donnelly > Shields > Frankie) means that Donnelly and Shields are toast. Way to act like a Dodger and burn those arms out, Mike!

He go the blame
As irecall the Dodger burnout formula wass to burnout STARTING pitchers (Fernando being the most egregious), but I hardly follow primitive leagues where the pitcher bats instead of a real hitter.
LLAAAAAAAAAAAooooooooooooAAAAAAAAA
We'll bite this thing in the bud boys, and ladies.
The Angels just have to remember while in the mid west NO WHITE CASTLE.
Play like the Panthers you are.
Only and always an Angel fan
that's rightt
let's circle the wagons and light a FIRE under these angels to get their shit together!
let's not leave them out to dry. let's fight!
pom-poms
slugging.
have enough power in the line-up. I believe we all hoped that the great managing of Soscia would
offset this- being aggressive, manufacturing runs, speed, etc. We also, hoped that some of these youngsters would step up and make a difference. Well our speedsters are getting on base, but there's nobody to drive them home,
the youngsters haven't come through, and I think it was stupid to think a squad all dotted with
rookies and second year guys would be affective.
It's time to start thinking trade for a tested
slugger or even two, what good is the great rotation and bullpen without run production. We
do have a good top part of the order but that's
not going to get us deep in the playoffs, if it gets us to the playoffs at all. Lastly, would
someone tell these jokers to quit walking all
these go ahead runs. Walks have been our demise
in a great # of our losses this year.

Hey, it's cool to complain and be frustrated!
It's cool to vent it and get angry.
Just remember, it's a process, and we're gonna get back to the top one way or the other. There's another game today, always keep that in mind.
It's all good baby!
