Cabride
Angels WIN
Panther of the Game:
Orlando Cabrera
Many Angels were pantheresque tonight against a Minneosta team that pretty much handed us the game after squeaking a few runs by an otherwise dominant John Lackey.
Figgy was 2 for 6 (his liner off of Luis Castillo's glove, initially ruled a hit, was revised to an error after the game was over) with a run scored and a ribby, Lackey, Frankie and Shields were dominant, and even JoMo was 2 for 3 with a walk.
But Orlando Cabrera walked in the 1st inning and scored, doubled to lead off the 5th and scored, doubled with one out in the 7th and singled home the winning run in the 11th.
One of Cabfare's two outs was a long flyout that allowed Jose Molina to move from 2nd to 3rd in the 2nd inning. The Angels taxi had plenty of CABFARE to make it home when it mattered most, all in time to watch a super-sized fireworks show under the light of the Halo.

Great victory. I think we needed this one, can't drop two in a row after that 4 game winning streak. And an extra inning win always pumps you up.
Agreed

Still having too many LOB, but hey...
Light up the Halo baby!
Dancin' an jumpin' an hootin' an hollerin'
Not a season ticket holder but I've been to both the Adam Kennedy Bot.9th walk off double victory and now the Cabrera bot.11th walk off victory. Those were 2 of 3 wins I've attended this year. Both times were the only times I brought my rally monkey(my ex girlfriend). I guess I need to bring her to more games.
I've also been to every Jeff Weaver start at home... Including tonight. Hopefully he will be inspired by his brother. He can't go out there and let his lil bro out pitch him.

I like where we're going. Hopefully Napoli's ankle continues to get better because I think his quality abs are contagious. (and I like him batting 2nd against lefties. Hell, if he doesn't, put Salmon there.)
