With the Rangers paying $10 million of his salary, my opinion is $15 million for his services is worth it...ego or no ego. At this point, I think he's more concerned with winning a championship. With his most recent troubles and his turbulent few years in NY (by turbulent, I mean the reputation he's garnered by not "hitting in the clutch; see the playoffs last year against the Angels), MVP notwithstanding.
Now, would he want to leave NY and would the Yanks want to dump him? Different story altogether.
However, if the Yanks were offered, say, Colon, Wood and Adenhart?
