Give up an error and he will allow the runs to score.
Give this guy a lead, he will lose it.
Give him any reason to choke, he'll do it.
I think the only reason he has a low ERA this year and last is because we don't score any runs for him.
If we scored 7 a game, he would allow 6 earned and 2 more unearned. Escobar is not a winner and his career .500 record proves it. Great stuff, but not a great heart, at least not enough to will a win. Either we give him an easy one, or he loses. Anyone else notice this?
