Angels need one more winning streak

I'm not sure why, but the Angels are, and have been, an extremely streaky team over the last several seasons.  Their last three playoff teams have benefited from major winning streaks.

Outside of the winning streaks, the Angels have been essentially  .500 team(s).  Do they have another streak in them this year?  Is Scioscia's/Hatcher's offensive brand of baseball to blame for the streaks?  Or do all winning teams experience this?  (It seems Detroit had been steamrolling everybody ALL season - except for the Angels, of course)  Is their horrific first half too much to absorb with just two major winning streaks?

It seems to me that, in order to win 90 games, the Halos will HAVE to post one more big winning streak - something along the line of 16 out of 18 games.  I guess we'll see...
