Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim Game 111/162

Game Thread - Rangers at Angels - Eaton Vs. Saunders - 12:35 p.m.

Star-divide

Tim Salmon hit 2 homeruns in the 2002 ALDS and 2 in that year's World Series, so take the lodestone off Timmy, you've hit over 300 dingers in professional competition and done oh so much more for the team... Enjoy yourself.

Intentionally Altered Movie Dialogue:
Vlad: If baseball used defend honor, defend life, baseball mean something. If baseball used defend plastic metal trophy, baseball no mean nothing.

The team hops on a plane for a four hour flight to Chicago after the game, plays the makeup of a rainout Monday night then heads right over to Cleveland for a Tuesday night affair. The 343 miles make it a 90 minute flight, but probably double that in bus rides. Let's see Mick and Keith compare grueling road schedules to that noise...

Wow
I've watched alot of baseball, and I've never seen someone get tossed that quickly.  I like it though.  Eaton was a little shit for pulling that kind of a stunt, and I don't take too kindly to the kind of baseball that involves being a chicken-shit pitcher who throws at/behind people just because they did their job at the plate...especially when you're risking the health of one of the opposing team's best players.

Rex is ridiculously stupid.
He says the Angels want to get to the Rangers bullpen, so they have nothing left when they play Oakland in the next series.

Using his stupid logic, wouldn't the Angels rather sit on this 5-0 lead, and save Texas' bullpen, so they can beat Oakland?

Make that 8-0.
