A's Will Lose

All year long I have been keeping track of the season by marking W's and L's on my 2006 Angels Calendar. I've also marked a green $ symbol on dates when Napoli came up big, an orange $ symbol for when Molina came up big, and sometimes I would write the name of the winning pitcher if they were a rookie phenom (Weaver and Saunders). The green stripes mark the games I will be attending. I won't be at the game on the 30th due to a friend's wedding but I will be there on the 29th instead.

Earlier I predicted that we would overcome the odds and take down Oakland. I predicted we would be 5 games back going into this weekend's Oakland series... I think it can still happen.

With a little extra help from the Voodoo Calendar I created today things will fall right into place. The calendar already claimed its first victim today thanks to a 7 to 2 scalping put together by the tribe. 1 down, 13 to go. Ah yes... I also plan on writing a "yes We can" on the winning dates from now until the end of the season. Go Voodoo Calendar GO!

Yeah, some nights those wins are the TITS.

He and his bride to be are Angels fans too... but I think over the past couple of months they have shifted their focus towards something else.

As I recall they started getting into the Angels in 2002.... around September.

I didn't say it.

But that's what the Voodoo Calendar is working for.

I said I thought we could be 5 back going into the weekend series at oakland but if voodoo calendar works to its full capability then yeah... they are going down harder than a an athletic elephant trying to balance on a rubber ball.

boarderline pathetic

you guys are getting a little out there with this. If I were in your shoes being effectively 7 out with 12 to play I would be gracious in defeat. Banking on a 14 game losing streak really looks bad. Not to mention the so called "voodoo" is now kaput after the a's win. Either you guys are completely blinded by your fandom of your team (which I am completely cool with) or a little dim in the head. It was a solid race, but at a certain point facts are facts. Next year should be a great race as well.
