Are the players reading this blog?
This is a question I frequently ask myself. If I were a professional athlete and therefore a kind of celebrity, enamored of my own success and mildly narcissistic, I would totally read the best blogs about myself. Who wouldn't????
So, I wonder who's reading this blog and more importantly, who is posting anonymously?
Give your best analysis of HH posters and who they actually are on the team/organization.
This Fan-Post is authored by an independent fan. Tell us what you think and how you feel.

From what i gather
L.A. Seitz had a post last season of a phenomena he noticed on his SiteMeter that every day or two the term "Steve Physioc" had clicked over from google.
What is funny is... I HAD NOTICED IT TOO ON MY SiteMeter! ... and it was never during game-time.
As for the players, I doubt they have that much time, but one can imagine that their agents, families and good friends do quite a bit - and that they likely hear about it, second hand - consider that if you type in Darin Erstad Angels, the 11th link in google is HIS HALOS HEAVEN ALL-TIME ANGELS PROFILE. You think he has heard about that from some cousin or in-law? I have no evidence that he has, but you gotta assume some of the team at least knows we exist.
Do we have an impact on the day-to-day operations? Of the team, NO. Of the organization? probably not, but I did bitch about the Brittany-heavy synth-pop at the stadium earlier this season and have been treated to a pregame diet of inoffensive classic rock and baseball organ music, so in the words of Bugs Bunny, mmmmmmm could be!
Nearly everyone at times ego-surfs on google. Do they get wrapped up in the culture of peole mentioning them? I don't know, but I cannot get wrrapped up in thinking to hard about it.

I sent you an email
I tried to post a reply
here's one of my faves->
A girl from the South and a girl from the North were seated side by side on a plane. The girl from the South, being friendly and all, said, "So, where ya'll from?" The Northern girl said, "From a place where they know better than to use a preposition at the end of a sentence."
The girl from the South sat quietly for a few moments and then replied, "So, where ya'll from, bitch?"

reminds me of an old Gene Tracy joke...
Northern girls say "Yes, you can"
Souther girls say "Yes, y'all can"
