So that's what the red highlight does
I still have to vote for Langston.
An interesting side note is that langston threw left and batted right.

are you disparaging #12?
i liked Rader as a manager but he made the fatal mistake in getting Dave Parker; we were very close to a playoff team when he managed, and if Parker would have hit, we would have been. and if you aren't familiar with his 'exploits' in "Ball Four", well, you should be.
Billy Moran was an All Star for us in '62 - maybe should have gotten more consideration as a Top 100.

Good call
I think Rader might be my favorite all-time Angel manager.

Moran and Rader
I liked Remy too and have favorable memories of him, but are we all guilty as overrating him when it comes to Halo 2B'ers? I started to look for Matt Welch's Halo 2B analysis but ....(dude, with all the writing you do, you need a search function!)
And re: Rader and Ball Four - some one who has a copy should post his appearance in the book - he certainly knew how to put the icing on the cake. as an early teen, his frosting i thought was one of the funnieest parts of a great book.
