- Someone suggests retiring someone's number.
- Someone else uses that as an opportunity to suggest that there are other people more deserving to have their numbers retired.
Addendum
- Someone replyed to the wrong person
- Someone was merely agreeing with another poster regarding Percy.

What the Angels SAY Bart weighs---
The program states that Bart weighs 245. Nobody I know believes he is under 300...

He and I work for the same company. Truth to be told, I had been speaking to him on the phone for years before I ever knew who he was.
What I can say about him is that he does a job that tends to turn most people into insufferable pricks, but in all those years I never had a bad conversation with him. Very upbeat guy.
If he ever shows up in my office again I’m getting him to sign a ball.

Brother of A’s and Dodgers OF (took a walk before Kirk Gibson hit his famous HR in ’88 WS), not the Cy Young winner.
3 games, 2 ABs, no hits. Got his cup of coffee, and that was it. Very strange, missed 1992, played 10 games in the minors in ’93, and hung ’em up for good.
I had to look that one up. Does anyone remember any more about this cat?
