Big News...

I work at a local LA TV station (will stay anonymous... sorry) and got a release from the Angels saying they will make a major announcement tomorrow

Angels PR not saying much... My assumption is that they will be naming a new GM since Stoneman's contract is up... he'll probably take the front-office job

Tony Reagins the new GM? Am I missing any other names?

Bill Stoneman replaced
The L.A. Times has it as a breaking news headline on its website.  No story linked yet.  Probably within the hour.

1990's style Halos baseball...
here we come!!!

Dugout seats at the price of a family pavilion seat, once again!  Pay $9 and sit a few rows up from the dugout!  The only problem is you have to play "dodge the old fogies (ushers)" to get to the lower box seat sections.

Oh the joy.

Quit yer whinin' and START CHEERING!

Ok, my serious post now...
I think the Stoneman will continue to do well helping make the decisions with regards to pitching;  leave it to the new guy(s) to call the shots with regards to the hitters, as Stoneman has not been able to trade for or bring up any real batting prospects in his tenure in my limited opinion.

He has done a wonderful thing with our pitching staff in assembling a very good group of hurlers.

This will be a good thing, I hope.

Hitting prospects
until 2007, I would generally agree with that sentiment.  Now, however, we've got Kotch and Kendrick developing nicely on the Major League level.

Can we afford Paul "Bostonkiller" Byrd?
Attending a losing Angel game is better than a winning day at work

We'd need to score 3 runs
so that would have gone down as a loss.
ARod. It should be pretty apparent now Bill.
