All AL West Team
im not sure if people will think this is a fun cool idea, or a really lame and time wasting one, but i think its kinda cool, i was bored in math class today and started thinking about all division teams. kind of like all stars but just for divisions, so there would be 6 teams total. so i was wondering who would make the all al west team. mine would look like this:
LF raul ibanez
CF ichiro
RF guerrero
3B figgins
SS young
2B kendrick
1B kotchman
C johjima
DH anderson
starting pitcher-lackey or haren (toss up)
closer-putz

Johjima?
Mathis has better speed/defense, Salty (Tex) has better offense (upside), and Suzuki is apparently the second coming of Jesus to Oakla... excuse me, Fremont fans.

I guess the support for Frankie was
Where are all the boosters from 2 days ago, when Putz was just a Putz?
Looks like some serious "changing of allegiance" here, virtually overnight! Frankie out - Putz in?
He was one of the top 3 in MLB remember?? And "Frankie is in the top ten percent of ALL players in ALL of baseball". (Rev H.)
"15 teams in baseball would pay $10 million for
that "down" year - and four years just like it". (Rev. H) But....I guess he's not good enough for the AL West All Stars!
Hypocrites.

Whatta Say?
Hell, he wouldn't make the Central or the East would he? Not over Jonathan Papelbon, and not over Joe Nathan. Nathan 1 save in 4 season prior to being acquired in trade with another pitcher that is not bad.

All AL-West Team '07
1B: uh..Kotchman (very weak crop)
2B: Kendrick (if he hadn't have gotten injured...twice was it?...he'd have the best offensive stats on the team, IMO).
SS: Cabrera (Young was fine, but he had a weak first half, Cabrera was solid all year).
3B: Beltre (tough choice...Figgins came on strong but he missed time with injury and was terrible for a spell).
LF: Ibanez (even taking into account his atrocious defense and terrible slumps at the plate, he still managed to drive in 105 runs)
CF: Ichiro.
RF: Vlad.
DH: Cust (1st non Angel/Mariner...)
SP John Lackey
SP Kelvim Escobar
SP Dan Haren
SP King Felix
SP Jered Weaver
CL Putz
