Sox Fans aren't scared of
Lackey and Escobar. I was on their blog site and came across this: "I like our chances against the Angels as I think they are a very beatable team (does Lackey scare any Red Sox fan? How about Escobar? Didnt think so). I still worry about the Yankees as the Sox didnt show an ability to beat them in August or September in big games but I think the AL is wide open this year and hopefully the Sox stay on this roll and bring home another chanpionship."

They don't even give us a chance they are already looking past the Angels at looking at the Yankees. Damn I hate Red Sox fans, they are so lame. I hope Lackey and Escobar pitch their games and we beat the Sox in Beantown.

I'd be more willing to concede Lackey's
To me, it's exactly the opposite of Ervin. Ervin would seem to me to know he sucked on the road, and suck more because of it. John is a competitor, and I would figure be a better pitcher for it.
That's not to say there isn't a chance he gets shelled tomorrow. I don't disagree with you that there is a definite possibility that they beat us this series. However, I just don't see it as a certainty.
John Lackey - Pitcher v Batter
The guy who is most dangerous against Lackey is Manny, and Manny has shown no power in his 5 starts since returning in September. Ortiz is also pretty strong, as if JD Drew (in limited at bats). So essentially, we just have to hold down the middle of their batting order, and we have a shot to win. The frightening thing, though, is how ineffective Vlad has been against Beckett (5 for 23, .771 OPS).
Dice-K and Schilling don't worry me. It's just Beckett, and we have to beat him at least once. I'd rather get that win tomorrow than have to count on it in game 5.

I'm more worried about...
As long as Escy is healthy - he is money though and should keep us in the game.

I don't want them to fear us.
And then, only then, do I want the Angels to crush them. For there is no such thing as terminal velocity for failure.

I'd like to point out that last year, there was one team that only one person picked to win their divisional series...the st. louis "2006 world series champions" cardinals
