What the experts say!
9 out of 10 of those "experts" in Shitstol, I mean Bristol, picked the Sux. The only dissenter-Jim Caple. The Halos are gonna give them a due shock!!!!

It peaked with Scioscia bringing in Donnelly in Game 1 and YesWeCan howling over Dominos slicing the thin crust pizza into squares...

You talk as if you're on an enemy site
Anyway, yes, it IS difficult to score without baserunners. Meanwhile, this is a pretty good and multi-faceted offensive ballclub, one that's a helluva lot closer to Boston than we were in 2004, and a good deal better than the team in '05. We've got better hitters in the lineup than 2005 at almost every position except Vlad.
Also, the rotation is a lot better, period; it's another question entirely whether they'll perform better in the playoffs, but this is the best 1-2-3 the Angels have had since 1991, if not 1989.

And their front page graphic
It was apparently more important to have two Indians than to recognize that the Angels have probably the best 1-2 in baseball.

And on top of that
For starting rotation, they mention Lackey, Escobar, and...Santana. I guess it's easy to forget that he's not even the #4 option when your head is that far up Boston's ass. He even acknowledges that it's basically Beckett and then question marks...but goes on to give the edge to Boston anyway.

I think my favorite BS stat so far
As far as the SeeBS sportsline edges go, XD at the Sox having a huge edge in the outfield. The simple truth is Manny wasn't that much better than GA this year at the plate, Willits was a better hitter than Crisp, and Figgins was a better hitter than Drew. The defense of the two squads is fairly comparable.

even more ESPN "expert" fun
17 out of 20 pick the Sox to beat the Angels.
The other 3 picked the Angels to not only beat Boston, but win the Series. hahaa!
