Will Anderson play?
HH,
There are conflicting reports, as noted in today's LA Times, regarding Anderson's vision. If his vision is, in fact, effected by his eye infection, even slightly, then he shouldn't be playing. Does anyone have up-to-the-date information on whether or not Anderson will play tonight?

My chat with Jayson Stark
Stark's comments are completely speculative. That said, it's all I got.
"John (Boston, MA): Jayson, there are conflicting reports of out LA today, as reported by the LA Times, about Anderson's eye infection and how its effecting his vision and play. What's the latest you've heard? Will he play?
Jayson Stark: (1:55 PM ET ) I'm not covering that series. But there were a lot of red flags around him late last week. Whether he plays or not, he seems as if he has lost that stroke he had for two months in the second half. And that team desperately needs him to be a presence behind Vlad."
I sent the same question to Shaugnessy earlier today but I haven't received a reply.
Go Halos.
From Laa.com
"It doesn't matter how many eyes you've got," he said. "If you've got a guy pitching on the corners, there's not much you can do."
And yes Anderson It does matter how many eyes you have. Oh by the way they say he will probably start.
Crasnik's two cents - more speculation
Jerry Crasnick: (2:19 PM ET ) John,
I'm in Cleveland, so I can only go by what I hear. Mike Scioscia says Anderson is fine. But his right eye was the size of a dime slot in the series opener. I can't imagine that's very comforting hitting against the likes of Josh Beckett or Matsuzaka. I suspect he'll play in Game 2, but I'm not sure how effectively."
I can't imagine that Sciossa will let Anderson play if his vision is even slightly effected.
