Teams winning down 0-2

Well i'm surprised the teams that have come back from being down 0-2 in the wildcard era playoffs are the 1995-Mariners vs. Yankees, 1999-Red Suxs vs. Cleveland,  2001 Yankees vs. A's,2003 Red Suxs vs. A's and I think the West is due again!!!
If i forgot any please post! Lets go ANgels on Sunday!!

It looks bleak but
--beat Schilling on Sunday which is more than a 50 percent chance.
--beat Beckett on Monday. Tough, but Lackey is due and it might be tough for Beckett to match game 1's performance.
--then go back to Boston and get Dice-K again who throws garbage.
The odds are against us but I don't think the team will give up. It's back to the old one game at a time routine.

George Orwell 1984
In 1984 the Padres returned home down 0-2 to the Cubs in the NLCS.  The Cubbies then came from ahead to lose three consecutive games 7-1, 7-5, and 6-3.  I know because I was there.

It is a game of firsts.  First strike, first out, first inning, first run, first win.  Play the games one at a time.  The Angels should hold nothing back Sunday except for the game 4 starter (John Lackey).  The Halos will throw the staff at the Bosox if need be.  If the Angels win on Sunday they will use the same strategy on Monday.  Shampoo, rinse, and repeat.  Do it enough times and you will wash with champagne.

I must remind everyone ...
Did we give up when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?

Hell no!!!!

I have all the faith in the world that we can and will beat the Red Sox three straight times and win this thing.

Great spirit
if lousy history.

As Jerome Brown said, we didn't come here to act monkeys with everybody!

Germans bombing Pearl Harbor
Obviously you've never seen Animal House.

Let's not forget Milwaukee 1982 and, of course the RedSux 2004 (vs. TEE).

It did sound awfully familiar
but it was late, and after some heavy anodyne action I couldn't quite focus. But I was praising you, not criticizing, and your words reminded me of the old favorite from the Jim Healy show, Jerome Brown saying "Did the Japanese sit down with Pearl Harbor before they bombed them?"; the "monkeys' phrase is part of that.

Above all, I agree with you. Where there's life, there's hope, and the Angels are still very alive. Go Angels!
