Why Scioscia isn't a great manager

The fact that GA had to come out in the 2nd inning of this game is completely and wholly on Scioscia.  If GA couldn't see well enough to play LF in the daylight - that should have been figured out in warmups.  

The fact that Willits is now hitting behind Vlad could have been avoided if Scioscia had done his managerial duty and tried to find out if GA was healthy enough to play BEFORE the game.

Anyway, it isn't a HUGE deal, but I think it - along with using Aybar at all - starts to paint a picture of a manager with flaws.
