Jose Guillen gobbling up the roids

http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2007/11/05/MNM2T2U24.DTL&tsp=1

Veteran major-league outfielder Jose Guillen, who played part of the 2003 season for the division-champion A's, bought thousands of dollars of steroids and human growth hormone from a troubled Florida anti-aging clinic and had some of the drugs shipped to the Oakland Coliseum, business records show.

BUT AT LEAST
he didn't play with pine tar on his glove - that would have made him a big cheater and Frank Robinson - the intimidator - would have done something about that cheating!

100% Agree
I lost a lot of respect for Frank tonight -- as a person and as a manager.  And there's nothing he can say to us now, nothing.

I don't even want him to approach us, I don't even want him to apologize to us.  I would not accept it or have anything to do with it.

its kind of weird
that there are alot of former angels that used steroids,(glaus, schoenweis, byrd, valdes, guillen, etc.)  i hope that is just a conincidence

Anybody else notice
The fact that a SF media outlet headlines Guillen in a steroids scandal and sandwiches Matt Williams' guilt, one of their most popular players in the last 15 years, between Guillen and Ishmael Valdez.

Can't wait to read a headline in the St. Louis papers like this: "Adrian Beltre and Chan Ho Park bought steroids."  Within main text of story, it reads: Mark McGwire also bought steroids from same lab as Beltre and Park.

Anybody else notice...
that even though Jose Guillen's played on seven different teams in the last seven years, the two photos they choose show him in Angels garb?

Way to milk a story.
What's with these guys writing a story every two weeks on the latest ball player to use HGH? Why don't they just release all the names and be done with it? Because it sells papers. Why just baseball players? You know this Palm Beach Rejuvenation Center dealt to other players in other sports, they did'nt just allow baseball players to purchase their products. Is football paying them protection money?

Why are these staff writers, Mark Fainaru-Wada and Lance Wiliams, given the power to selectively decide who gets outed and who does'nt? Remember they also wrote the timely article on Paul Byrd during the ALCS right before that critical game against the Red Sox. It seems it would be more fair to release all the names at once to avoid giving one player advantage over another as far as being regarded a more desirable signing to a contract in the off season. Just because you have'nt been added to the list or included in a newspaper article yet could give you a definite advantage over a player who has already been on ESPN's rumor page.

Byrd
Why did he get outed when BoSox were ahead in the ALCS?
Stop swinging at balls out of the zone!
