Ths Toa of Bill

As another winter meeting ends I find myself cursed by the toa of Bill Stoneman. I believe he did a god job but I am continually left a little empty as we continue to lose out on studs we are the front runners for. We sign centerfielders to long contracts like the lions draft wide receivers and our holes in the lineup remain holes. It has never been better to ba a Halo fan, I think ninja will be fine, I know we win the west in "08". But the toa remains and it keeps me from the total joy this team and its future should be giving me.

"Frontrunner" means NOTHING
it's media hype, and Reagins was smart for not making any of those trades.
I'm a gutless, two-faced little b!tch.

I have to agree with this.
I'm just wondering what's more valuable:

Howie Kendrick (Potential Derek Jeter)
Miguel Cabrera (Potential Alex Rodriguez)

Yet, I know Howie can hit AL pitching consistently, I don't know if MCab will fall off in the AL.

as evidenced last year
this team has no problem getting hits for average.

home runs and power are different. How comfortable are you about our lineup if vlad was out for an extended time?

Cabrera would have made that answer a lot easier. Truth is, we're once again praying vlad doesnt get hurt because without him, it will be hard to overcome even 3 or 4 run deficits. home runs change games. singles dont.
