I have been reading message boards at all sorts at sites like IGN and gamespot and others and here is the general consensus.  Take Two did very very little to the PS2 and XBOX versions of the game.  Howie the Halo, I am assuming that you must have a "next gen" version for PS3 or 360 which actually includes the Signature Syle animations and accurate rosters.

I am an avid baseball gamer and I really wanted this game to be as good as adverstised, but now I understand why there was no publicity or hype whatsoever for the the PS2 ans XBOX version.  Because they did next to nothing compared to last year's game.

I love this site and would never flame it with crap about a poorly made version of a video game if it weren't true.  Check out some of those message boards I mentioned and you will come across the same kind of dissappointment from fans and gamers everywhere.

I downloaded the so called "roster update" last night so players like Wells and Erstad are signed and things are as officially up to date as they can be.  I was praying they would fix the ratings as I thought it was some sort of initial glitch maybe related to the earlier than expected release date.

Anyways, here are the overall ratings for the Angels squad, straight from my game, no bullshit.  If you don't believe me and want me to take a pic or something I will.  I would have NO INCENTIVE to make this up:

Honestly, this is the game I was shipped WITH UPDATED ROSTERS LOADED.  Now, understand where I am coming from?  Am I the only one with this going on?  Howie the Halo, You don't need to tell me to stop lying because I am not, though I can definitely see why you would think so, especially if you have a next gen version.  I am eternally jealous I can't afford one right now.
