Angels Franchise is #7 in Fan Satisfaction, #1 in MLB

Thanks to ESPN voters, The Angels are number 7 in franchise satisfaction amongst the fans in ALL sports.

It just goes to show you how loyal and dedicated we are to the team that has brought the city of Anaheim and its fans so much pain, heartbreak, and sorrow (read: the 80s), along with the pleasure of seeing a monkey lifted from our back, and placed firmly in the bullpen in the improbable 2002 World Series Run.

Just as an aside, the only ranking in which we didn't crack the top 35 was "OWN (Ownership): Honesty; loyalty to players and city". Thank you, Stoneman, for Garbage Matthews Jr. as our big splash.

Number 7 overall...
but number one in MLB. That's about all you can ask for.
Fire Mickey Hatcher. An entire generation of Angels offense depends upon it.

Top 10 Every Year Since '03
...and Number #1 in baseball every year since '04.  Surprised to see the Ducks right above the Angels.  That's interesting.

Odd
that the ownership score was so low; in fact, Arte Moreno is the best owner in sports, from a fan's perspective.  He is loyal to the team and its fans, trying to put the best possible product out there at the lowest possible price.  Most of the other "positives" can be traced to him.  My guess is that dimwit Curt Pringle and his cronies are responsible for the negative votes.

And don't forget
he's not an overbearing jerk like Steinbrenner can be.  What a sweatbox he makes for his players in the Bronx.  I mean, he's gotten better as he's aged, but that's likely a function of having slowed down.  Remember the time he broke his hand punching an elevator after the Yankees lost the '81 series?

And
the time he called Dave Winfield, a future Hall of Famer, "Mr. May"?  Can you imagine Arte saying anything that bitter and shortsighted?  I sure can't ...

Can't complain...
My two favorite teams are #7 and #38 (Calgary Flames). Looks like I cheer for some pretty damn satisfactory teams. The Angels ownership mark is absolutely ludicrous, though.
