I read

That the guy in the sausage costume worlks for the Brewers and grew up a native of Cleveland.  He was so ecstatic that his hometown team was playing at Miller that he guaranteed a win in the race.

He also claims that he roots for the Brewers, like everybody else, but that if the Indians met Milwaukee in a world series, he would be sick to his stomach with worry.
