The Napster Returns
Quietly, Mike Napoli has strung together a 7-game hitting streak.
According to http://www.insidesocal.com/angels/ Napoli is crediting a new stance invented by everyone's favorite hitting coach, Mickey Hatcher.
Is this the start of him being the player he was for the first two-months of his career, or are all you haters out there still writing him off?
Now if Scioscia could only teach him how to throw out runners...

Ever since he switched to the flattened swing
Um
He got that double once they brought in the clean up reliever and he was just throwing fastballs anywhere in the zone to get the game over with.
He is outmatched by good pitching. Period.
Also, he looks so bad trying to throw out runners, its frustrating to watch.

Napoli
He's our best option - Molina can't hit and Mathis would give us Napoli batting average without the power.
If he can't turn around his throwing, Angels may have to go outside the organization for a catcher, but for now lets give Napoli a full chance.

Not me
We've got Jose Molina with no offense and Jeff Mathis with no offense in AAA.
Go ahead and write him off, just realize your options after that.
I'd vote for him

Jeff Mathis
Catchers have almost as high an attrition rate as pitchers.
