So on the plus side we have a guy who has a .400 OBP, decent slugging % and the potential for 30 odd HRs, and perfect protection for you-know-who allegedly available for the small price of a Figgins and a Molina.

On the flip side you have 3 types of contagion (the 'Fremont' strain, the 'Pinstripe' strain and the 'Balco' strain), a salary that would make your even Arte's bank manager wince, and the limiting of the DH role to spot our aging outfielders from time to time.
