2008 All Star Game
Is anyone watching the Dodger-Cub game today?
I just did a triple take, as the play by play guy said that next year's all star game would be played in Anaheim.
I thought (and everything I have read up to this point) is that it would be at Yankee Stadium?
I mean, I have heard annocers mis-speak, but this is WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY off.

I'm still pissed off from the 1989 All Star Game
...Jimmie Reese...
Worst all star snub of all tiem has to be when Wally Joyner got voted in as a starter as a WRITE IN CANDIDATE as a arookie in 1986 and he got one at-bat before being removed as a pinch hitter. That manager died of a brain tumor.
Said manager's closer at the time
That should teach anyone to fuck with our LDS 1st baseman. Joseph Smith probably used his seer stones and stovepipe hat to curse the Royals.
It is a combination of...

Oh, the Mormons!
LaRussa is a Major League Asshole
> Bert Blyleven was 8-2 with a 2.15 ERA at the All-Star break in 1989, and DIDN'T get selected by the SOB.
> Wally Joyner, (11 HR, 57 RBI, .326 avg) didn't get selected by SOB for the 1991 All-Star team.
> Dave Winfield, (18 HR, 57 RBI, .280 avg) also didn't get selected by our one and only SOB
I don't have the patience (somebody can look it up), but I recall inferior pitchers/hitters making the All-Star teams in 1989 and 1991, while Angels got overlooked.
