Excellent, while you fellas were spraying loads all over each other last night, Papasito was keepin' it real...Arte Moreno can't find much fault with his club after 70 games.
But the hot start hasn't changed the Angels owner's philosophy that there's always room for improvement.
Moreno told the media Monday that he remains open to making a change that would bring the franchise nearer to a second world title, and he was less than subtle about his team's needs as the July 31 trade deadline approaches.
"There are certain areas we feel we can improve our team," Moreno said, "and obviously we'd like that person to be able to hit, especially if he can hit with power."
"Trading for a guy isn't cheap."
"But we are committed to do whatever we can to win a world championship. We're close, we're very close but we haven't won anything yet. A six-game lead can evaporate quickly, so we need to continue to play good baseball."
