Icky Thump in Hollywood last night rocked.
I missed the game live last night, had to watch it on Tivo this morning, but it was for a pretty good reason.
We got to go to the White Stripes free performance at the old Tower Records on Sunset last night.
Awesome. Just awesome.
Jack White is incredible. Every time I see him my expectations get larger and still he never disappoints.
A couple of the new tracks rock OUT. It was very cool how they decorated the old Tower Records, and it was great to have Jack Black come out and introduce Jack White.
All in all a great show, the place is so small to see someone so HUGE.

Are they making it a club
By the way, am i the only one who took a deeeply perverse pleasure in the once mighty Tower Records going bankrupt after gouging all of us all these years?
I agree
Alas, where will all the fat goth kids from Irvine work now?
Not at Sunset Tan, that's fer sure!
Tower
Damn!! How did you score those tix?
How long did they play for?
I just scored my tickets to see them at the Forum in September.
Maybe they should play Seven Nation Army at the end of an Angels victory?
Angels+Stripes=Red Nation
White Stripes
PS The price gouging bought one helluva Tower Records goodbye party here in a club in Sacto.
