Hillenbrand is officially a problem
From the LA Times, found it on Baseball Primer:
"I feel like I'm being pushed aside, put on a back-burner, and I don't like that at all," Hillenbrand, 31, said. "If I'm not going to play here, give me enough respect to trade me or get rid of me. I think I deserve that."
If Manager Mike Scioscia "doesn't think I can help this team, there are teams out there I can help," Hillenbrand continued. "I'm a quality player in the prime of my career. To go from playing every day to not playing at all, it's very disheartening."

gve him some credit
I'm 100% sure the guy's going to be starting in NY in a week or two.
Yeah
Sure.
The Yankees would probably like to have Hillenbrand, Molina, Figgins, and KRod/Shields; not to mention Santana and/or Colon.
Who in the world have they got to offer to get those?
I forgot to mention
Somewhere out there...

Absolutely
(it's a pitchers league - remember how good Brian Cooper looked at Erie)
You never know...it's worth a shot

Yup
I'm a quality player in the prime of my career.
Man are we going to throw a party here when he is gone shortly.
One thing he needs to realize is the Yankees won't be as patient as the Angels if he hits .200 with them. He has 2 weeks to start hitting in NY or he is done there too.
Prime of his career?
Hillenbrand turns 32 next month.
What a POS
Maybe Stones can pull another Weaver for Evans miracle?

Shea HiddenBrain to AAA!
we should...
he is a joke. "I'm a quality player in the prime of my career. To go from playing every day to not playing at all, it's very disheartening."
"Prime"- wow thats hard to believe. if batting .275 with 22 rbi's is his prime then he shouldnt be on a major league staff.
here is the deal.
she, santana, figgins and a prospect for A-Rod.
the yankees need pitching (santana), speed on the bags (figgins). and a right handed 1st baseman (shea),
If you read the article
The writing is on the wall, he is not going to get much playing time. You can not fault him for wanting to be traded.
