I like Percy as much as the next Angels fan, but is anyone else besides me a little pissed about the whole retirement-with-the-Angels thing?

Why the hell did Percy accept the Angels' gesture and then turn around and decide he wants to play again? There couldn't have been much time in between when he accepted an Angels retirement and when he decided to get back in the game. C'mon, was he not contemplating it before retiring an Angel?

It just all seems a little weird, Troy. Make up your mind.

I just don't get this. Based on what I've heard it does not appear that his stuff is good enough to get out major leuage batters unless he has somehow learned to pitch since he no longer has a plus fastball. The only thing that is a negative for the angels is that he is no longer a part of the organization. I don't think the Angels will want to rehire him after this.
