Angels Lose to Orioles 6-3

Enough said. I have already said my peace with regard to how I feel about him. Can't we just DFA him and bring up someone else. Mosley only pitched half an inning he could have came in.

I'm a Tiger fan and I know I don't belong on this web. I am from Shoreline, Washington, although now I'm living in Bountiful, Utah. I know what losing is like and I know what getting swept is like and I know all about heartbreakers, losing in the bottom of the ninth when you have a seven run lead. On September 30, 1967 the Tigers had a doubleheader with your Angels. The Tigers won the first game and had a 6-2 lead going into the ninth and the Angels rallied and won the game 8-6. The next day was another doubleheader, which was split--The Tigers needed a sweep to win the pennant. I was heartbroken. On May 3, 1968 you defeated us 6-5 to knock the Tigers out of first place. It took a week for them to get back to the lead. You came pretty close to that again. In 1986 the Tigers were leading your Angels 12-5 going into the bottom of the ninth, but the Angels scored eight runs to win 13-12. You got a grandslam homerun with two outs in the bottom of the ninth. I don't think any team can break hearts as much as the Tigers. In 1988 the Tigers were pretty close to winning the division. On August 22, 1988 they they lost 7-0 to Minnesota and a decade later hadn't recovered. The Tigers when on a 15-29 run to to the end of the season and lost the division title by one game. The ineptness continued through 1989 as they lost 103 games. I thought we had hit bottom. I was wrong. This went on for 17 years. I can't describe the discouragement and hopelessness I felt during these 17 years (and I'm not sure it's over). The great depression did not go on as long as this. In 1996 the Tigers lost 109 games. Have you ever lost 109 games? In 2002 the Tigers, after starting 0-11 lost 106 games and in 2003 they lost an American League 119 games.  On August 13, 2002 I was sitting in front of the TV watching the Angels and Tigers play an extra inning game. The Tigers took a lead in the top of the 11th but the Angels tied it up and eventually won the game in the 12th. A day later I watched them play again on ESPN as the Angels completed the sweep winning 5-4. At the end of the game I burst into tears. At that time I was a Giant fan in 2002 and you know what happened in the World Series. The Giants had six outs to go and they ended up losing the World Series to Who? In 2003 the Tigers lost 119 games--also going on at the same time was the failure of my marriage which resulted in a divorce in 2004. In 2006 the Tigers had their first winning season since 1993. Again, they found a way to break my heart. They screwed in up at the end. At home they hosted you guys for a three games series and lost two of the games. One of the games they needed only one out to win the game and made an error and lost the game to you guys. On the final day of the season the Tigers needed to win against the Royals. They had a 6-0 lead and later with a 7-4 lead needing five outs to win the game and the division they fell apart and lost the game in extra innings. This turned out to be a blessing in disguise as painful as it was because if they had won the division I don't think they would have gone to the World Series (which they lost, of course). Your Angels have a great future. The Tigers don't. They have no bullpen and have blown a number of leads in the ninth inning--one of which was to the Angels. They were swept at home by Cleveland--three games they badly needed to win. They lost a 12-11 game to Cleveland after leading 11-7 in the bottom of the ninth, just a few days after losing a game in the bottom of the ninth to Tampa Bay. They have lost two of three to the Rangers. On Sunday, June 24th they beat the Atlanta on Sunday Night Baseball. Do you realized they hadn't won on Sunday Night Baseball for 12 years? All teams have their difficult times. They have years where they don't do very well--but 17 years? All teams sooner or later lose in the 9th but not like the Tigers. I could write a book about it.  

and Stoneman bites hook, line, and s(t)inker.  Right about now, I'd prefer Bootcheck, Moseley, etc etc etc over this flop.  DFA him (and AllOver) now!

His three run bomb was the difference.  I think Hector is in serious jeopardy of getting DFA'd when Speier comes back.  Tomorrow's game is important for the Halos.  If we loose that's two straight series and the possible start of a cooling off period.
