Angels Lose to Orioles 6-3
Blame of the Game: Hector Carrasco

You tell me, I was at a wedding. As the newlyweds left the altar the DJ plays the Thompson Twins Hold Me Now, and it was new wave tears of sentimental happiness for your Rev.
Half an hour later, I checked my cell phone and saw the final score and it was just tears.

According to the daily news:
Both likely would have been used before Carrasco under different circumstances to help continue what Colon had started. The right-hander, who has dealt with a drop in velocity in recent years, saw radar-gun readings that were even lower Saturday.
At this point, Oliver appears to be a better option. When Speier comes back, who goes?
Lower Radar Gun Readings?
Bart was hitting 94 early in the game. He also seemed to crank it up a bit on the last couple of batters. I forget who the last guy he faced was, but he gave him a bit of what Rex Hudler calls "Linda Ronstadt": Blue Bayou.
Or was he talking about Carrasco's radar gun readings? It's a very poorly written sentence. Colon is the last pitcher referred to by name. Therefore, the subsequent pronoun "he" refers to Colon.
The sentence makes more sense if the writer was referring to Carrasco. When Carrasco first came up with the Reds, he threw in the mid-90s consistently; I'd venture to say that Carrasco barely tops 90 these days.

But hey man, go ahead and resign yourself to losing. It's easier that way. And who am I to judge?
