Arod player of the month

Chone Figgins was runner up to Arod in the voting for player of the month. I don't now about you guys but I have a problem with this. It seems like any time Arod remotely sniffs a decent month or a decent year he gets all the awards.

There have been some years where I thought other players were more deserving of the MVP. Figgins clearly had the best month of his career and got 53 freakin hits and single handedly propelled his team to the best record in baseball. He deserved to win. Arod's numbers didn't mean as much to his team by the end of the month. MLB just loves giving awards to ARod.

I agree
But couldn't they just give it to a guy who probably had the best month he's ever going to have.

too lazy to find the specific shirt, but thats exactly the brand, the way its spelled, and the media is retarded.

My friend has the same white-sleeveless from FCUK.

It's a man, baby
Judging from this photo of his wife, and the pictures of his mistress, it looks like ARod likes his women a bit masculine.  Maybe he'll go after that French tennis player?

I thought Magglio had a better month than Figgy
I suprised he didn't get it.
I should be working right now...

Maggs
look at the numbers.  Magglio wasn't better than Figgy.  He hit one homer to Figgy's zero, both drove in a comparable amount of runs, Figgins hit for a slightly higher average, but Magglio had a slightly higher slugging percentage.  The only stat that was significantly different was stolen bases.  I don't need to tell you who dominated that category.

I figured
Magglio would get it too, he had a great month too.
