The all halo opponent team

after this past weekend, Melvin Mora got me thinking that he's a halo pest if there ever was one.  there are other guys who seem to feast on us as well.  Raul Ibanez is another one.  i used to think Willie Bloomquist but that was just a Washburn thing.

who else absolutely loves hitting against the halos?

IIRC
Jeter and ARod had .350+ BAA our pitching, but everytime they pull up that stat, I never see either hit.

Strange

On a related note...
In the late 1990's and early 2000's Brad Radke absolutely owned the Halos.

you're telling me
saw him absolutely baffle the angels in '98 or '99 for a CG shutout

by swiss mcgee on Jul 3, 2007 9:46 AM PDT up reply actions

well
not a CG shutout, he gave up 1 run, 3 hits

but in '98 Radke was 3-0 against us giving up only 2 runs

A-Rod for sure
Juan Gone used to torch us, too. Not looking at any stats or anything, I seem to recall Willie Bloomquist, Kevin Millar, Brad Radke, every shit-balling lefty who can walk without a cane....

jamie moyer!
For some reason, he always scared me when pitching against the Angels.

What about AJ and Doug Eddings?
Does anybody know AJ's lifetime stats against the Angels.  I seem to remember him killing us earlier this season, but I don't know... old age and all...
I should be working right now...

Actually
he really sucks against the Angels, a career .253/.313/.387 hitter.

as an Indian in the movie Major League (played by Charlie Sheen).  I think he went by the name of "Wild Thing"

Greg Vaughn was a Devil Ray

WOW
I was about to write that same thing... well said.  I remember Eric Milton always pitching well against us.

Jeff DaVanon's only career moment of note
(until he hit for the cycle) was striking out to complete Milton's no hitter of the Angels in '99
