Blame of the Game: Jered Weaver
I was at a wedding and missed the whole thing. Anyone want to add anything else?

What happened to the other posts?
I fucked up the first thread
In the interim, attention-seeking homophobe Spanky went on a spree here, so I will be banning him later tonight and erasing every post he has ever made on halos heaven - which will make this thread seem schizophrenic to say the least!
Spanky's days of crying to his big brother Blez to let him back on the SB Nation blogs are over.

This is a different tone than your other post...
but, here is my reply to your smart-ass post:
TITLE: Congrats on your win spanker...
honestly, I'll tip my cap to the Sox, coz they have the talent and "magic" to beat us, without a rally monkey. The mere mentioning of 1986 and Dave Henderson cause me to fall to the ground and shrivel up into a fetal ball.
At any rate, I predicted a 3-1 sox series win this weekend. We have a chance to beat that tomorrow and you know (unless you are dumb) that we challenged the Sox in this series and the Angels will come out of it, even losing 1-3, with a bit more confidence.
To the bat flip...a bat flip of that variety is Jose Guillen-esque and will be subject to retaliation. Just ask John Lackey.
About you...what kind of loser hits the Angels blog and is not a fan of the team? I have zero interest in going to a Sox blog. Ridiculous.
Enjoy the short-lived victory and the impending Sox collapse at the hands of those dastardly Yanks (even if it does not happen, the nature of a Red Sox fan is to fear it happening; quite comical)!
Troll elsewhere; hopefully, you are on the list of people to be removed from the blog...
Sounds..
well, apparently he got confused
glad they feel the need to be like us.
Believe it...

didn't say it was true or untrue
and to this point:
does rooting for a "popular" team somehow make you a better fan?
i think it's widely understood that so cal has a harder time garnering a really obsessed fan base, due to the fact that during the summer months there are actually things to do here. so what?
you're not alone in this point
I personally don't hate the CITY...
Trolling hour should be over, you've put up a great and might defense, for which the city of Boston owes you big-time. Good night.
Church services are in about 6 hours for you. Get some sleep young fella.
Trolling aside...
We have a lot of positives, actually to take from this game, believe it or not.
In response to the spanker, yes, our game thread got outta hand. But, a lot of people are expecting the Halos to win in Boston. It's our proving ground. Fortunately, Boston will be bounced in the first round, so we won't have to face them or this frustration. Isn't that wonderful?
I for one am not frustrated, as I expect failure in Boston, predicting a 3-1 series defeat. So, GO HALOS, make me eat a helping of crow tomorrow.
No, I see your point...
shoot, I'm a troll now... ;(

We were crushing the ball
Been that way for quite a few games.

not to mention Vlad's BLAST
It is
It was a bad night all around. Missus highlandhalo accidentally locked me out of the house before she went to sleep and I was stuck outside in a howling rainstorm. I couldn't ring her to let me back in because my mobile was out of credit.
So I had to get a cab back to the pub in the village, borrow £20 off my mate to pay for it, borrow somebody else's mobile to ring Mrs highlandhalo to open the damn door.
Things were looking better when we were ahead 5-0 but Papi's damn bat flip and Coco Crisp running everything down all over the park was kinda the last straw. And thanks to Weaver I lost a tenner to the bookie.
Anyway, I apologise. I DO hate the Red Sox, but I will be Mr Positivity tonight!
GO HALOS!

He did request a cut down on that stuff...
I think the happy people are still here...
A very sincere good luck to the Angels.
Holy crap they're all showing up tonight
And yes. I've said a few times now that I like that you guys are on our tail, because it makes us a better team for it, and hopefully having two really solid teams will shut up people that think the west is a weak division.
Good luck to you too.
Wonder where the A's trolls are?

And while we're on the issue of SOX
Was 2005 a fluke? Yeah, I'm so inclined to believe.
Exactly...

It's time for Arte to pick up a phone
This kid has twice the talent as Jeff. And he is blowing it because he might be twice the head case.
It's a pennant race, for chrissakes. WTFU!!!
Laziness?
On a lot of reports which went something like:
Moving into that new house in his Simi Valley hometown changed his offseason more than by consuming a great deal of his time.
Last year, Weaver spent the offseason in Orange County and regularly participated in demanding workouts conducted by the training staff of his agent, Scott Boras. This year, living an arduous drive up the 405 from Orange County provided Weaver with a convenient excuse to follow another training regimen. Weaver was not a big fan of last year's regimen, anyway. "I'm not training to be a wide receiver; I'm training to be a pitcher," he says. "It got to be a little bit too much."
There's one thing that Boras knows, it's that his product's market value will only rise if the product works himself up tot he top of his game. WTY could not be bothered.
I am not happy to be reading and relaying this, because I am the guy who once claimed that WTY would be our next Cy Young winner.
According to Weaver himself
Could be worse
Now THAT sucks.

If we win and the M's lose...
We are still in good shape, even when we go 5-5 in the next ten games (Yanks, Jays, & @ M's) because the M's will also go 5-5 (@Min, @Texas, & home against us).
You know, I'm going to go ahead
Let me preface this with the obligatory "I fucking hate Boston and all of her sports franchises", and I'll say, there really is no room for dissent on HH.
If someone comes in and countermands any of the Angels lore here, even if it is thinly guised trolling, they are called to be silenced by the almighty ban hammer. I don't agree with this practice in the slightest, as I certainly don't like being seen as "wimpy" or "argumentative".
We ought to embrace those from other cities who come here to post, even trolls, as they just give us, the true Halo fans, more ammunition to fire upon the unholy injustices that their teams bring upon us.
Just my thoughts, hopefully Rev won't ban me this time.
