C'mon 96 wins!
I'd love to see the club get to 96 wins at the least and make it the 2nd best Angel team of all time (in terms of victories).

Love the Tag line
You do realize that Boston has the highest per-captia level of university students in the world, the most accredited Universities in the country, as well as one of the highest educational levels for the general population.  Good luck tonight and pass the beer bong.  BTW, is there any news about whether Vlad is back in the field or hitting as the DH?

That helps to explain quite a bit...
Like how a fat, twelve sandwich eating, drunkard, idiot like Ted Kennedy can keep getting re-elected.  Ya, you Chowda-Heads are really, really, intelligent....

Halo's come back and sweep the remaining 3 games so you can all get back to hitting the books.

GO ANGEL'S!!

Second best team record with 151 games
The 2002 squad was 95-56 after their 151st game, a 1-0 victory over Oakland on September 17 the road; a solo homer by Tim Salmon against setup man Billy Koch was the deciding tally.

One thing I did not know was that that victory put the Angels in first place in the division.  But the Angels actually did poorly going into October, 4-7 through the end of the regular season, losing that four-game road series' to Oakland, a game back of the A's for the division, but an impressive seven games ahead of Seattle for the Wild Card. Even despite losing two of three in Seattle, the M's got no closer than six games back, and the Angels — finally won the Wild Card after salvaging a 10-5 win in Texas on September 26.

Hoping Ervin Santana turns it around in Salt Lake. Go, Ervin!

He may frustrate us at
times with his vet love or his leaving pitchers in when they shouldn't be but you GOTTA love what Scox has brought to the organization.  4 of the top 5 records in Halo history + a WS ring should say enough.

I loved when Vin Scully (during the Freeway series) said that the biggest mistake the Dodgers ever made was letting Scox out of the organization.  Their folley - our windfall...

Memo to Scioscia: Home field advantage throughout is on the line - you don't HAVE to let everyone get a chance to pitch...

Doug Rader spits in your general direction
HAD there been a wild card that seaon we would have been IT and we would have won our first ring, ironically against the Giants!

I was 5,000 miles away
Hence, it doesn't count. Killer rotation, though.

Seeing this diary makes ...
the title of this diary meaningless:
"Why Scioscia isn't a great manager"

Sheet, Mauch was the best ever in my mind prior to 2002.
