No to the old kits, they're jinxed - I like red.

They have not worn the throwbacks since an interleague game against San Diego in 1998 (against Kevin Brown, decked out in yellow and brown) and a three game series ainst Oakland in 2002 (Miguel Tejada looked like a margarita in the garish gold with lime green trim).

They wore the awful "Turn Ahead the Clock" garments in 2000 - Mo Vaughn looked like a Star Trek alien reject.

Especially those dark blue batting helmets with the halo on them.

Before every game, all Halo fans are entertained with a reminder of the great players and moments in Angels history. There is a reason for this. It would be nice to show this kind of respect for those who came before, who were not so fortunate to be surrounded by a complete team, and/or skippered by a Mike Scioscia.

But do it during the regular season, for some weekend game where you can front it with an old-timer's game. (Although it would be kind of cool to break them out for a WS game!)

And don't overdo it. Once a season is enough.
