Troy Percival to Start for the Cardinals on Sunday!

Troy Percival will make his first career start in the Cards season finale.  He is only expected to go a couple of innings.  

"With 638 career appearances, Percival has the fifth-most of any active player without a start."

Always like him.
It was a shame we had to let him go, but Frankie is certainly the man, so that worked out.  Nice that he may start, too bad the Cards sucked so bad this year.

Perciva's day
He did started and just went the 1st inning - 2K and 1 H. Thanks for the heads up. I didn't see it, just read the box score.

He ended the year with a 1.80 ERA (with140 ABs)and opponents hit .171 against him in the NL.

Wouldn't you like to have him on our post season bullpen roster?

I was at PNC Park Today
It was great to see Percy on the mound again - although it was very odd seeing him start.  Folks around me openly wondered why some guy in an Angels hat and jacket was giving the Cardinal starter a standing O.  36k's in 40ip this year - sigh...
