I think he's gonna have a GREAT year!
I think he's got something to prove for last year's off year. He might have 16+ wins again in my opinion. I'm calling it!
If I hear the word "red sox"...POW!!! RIGHT IN THE KISSER!!!

trade him now while his value...
is high, just kidding. what's great is that he did this away from the BIG A. so he can either pitch great at home or in the dominican republic, there are a lot of parks in between. let's hope he carries this over into spring and the regular season.

Wow
and he did it against the likes of Henry Mateo and Pablo Ozuna!

Look out, David Ortiz!

our rotation
If Voodoo returns to 16 win form, our rotation is going to be outstanding to say the least. Lackey, Escobar, Weaver, Santana, Garland. Garland is a great #5 starter and our number 6 starter becomes Joe Saunders (who would be a #3 on many staffs).

So, do you think that Saunders will be a spot starter/long man or be shipped to SLC or will there be a trade? Personally, I like the idea of depth, Saunders can be there if Santana has troubles or if somebody gets hurt.

ya
i think i like garland in the 4 spot and ervin getting a shot at the 5 with 2 months to show if he can survive the road. If not, Saunders it is.

Eh. It was a home game.
Now, if it had been on the road, THAT would have been impressive. :P

In all serious though, Ervin has been dominant in games before. The key is whether he's going to find some consistency.
