All AL West Team
i did this at the beginning of the season and im going to post it again because im sure the choices will drastically change
RULES:
a player must play the position you choose him for (no left fielders playing center unless they have played the position before, and no starting pitchers relieving or closing, and you cant have more than one closer)
any player that played in the AL west at anytime during the season is fair game (kotch or tex could be used)
heres mine:
LF-Ibanez
CF-Hamilton
RF-Ichiro
3B-Figgins
SS-Young
2B-Kinsler
1B-Teixeira
C-Napoli
DH-Guerrero
Rotation:
Lackey, Santana, Saunders, Duchscherer, Hernandez
Bullpen:
CL-Rodriguez
RP-Ziegler, Arredondo, Shields
if this goes well maybe ill do other divisions every couple of days

I would take
Chris Davis or Beltre at 3rd over figgins as my only change.

Bradley had 22hr and 77 rbi with 112 k in 414 ab….he hit .321
I wouldn’t take that over Vladimir at .300 with 27 hr and 91 ri…
I think maybe his great first half fooled people a triple crown threat he is not..lol

Yeah, Beltre at 3rd
He may be overpaid, but he’s the best 3B defensively and not much worse than Davis offensively.
Otherwise that’s a decent list.

Ibanez in LF?
his errors were pretty bad, as bad as Manny’s. Now in terms of offensive production then ok I agree with you.

OBP and SLG friend...
Kinsler – OPS of .892
Lopen – OPS of .764
Not even in the same ballpark…pun intended.

exactly
kinsler plays in texas, lopez plays in seattle.
and lopez plays better d.
but to be completely honest, i’m playing a bit of devils advocate and trying to get a little debate going. i mean, everyone is pretty much agreeing on everything.

Mine.
C: Suzuki/Napoli
1B: Teixeira
2B: Kinsler
SS: Young
3B: Beltre
LF: Ibanez (although his defense sucks)
CF: Hamilton
RF: Ichiro
SP: Lackey, Harden, Felix, Duchscherer, Saunders
RP: K-Rod, Ziegler, Devine, Arredondo, Morrow (he started and relieved during the season, so he can go in the pen).
Relief ace FTW. No designated closer.
Carlos and Victor Zambrano have exactly the same number of career postseason wins. Who would have thought?
