If you could write the script...

If you were granted a wish that you could have tonight's game go exactly how you drew it up, what would you call for?

I know my first choice would be for a total blowout because I am tired of the game-long agony this team has been putting me through; However, if I really could call the shots, here is how I would like it to go:

Angels look miserable all night--maybe even no hits--and trail, say, 3-0 because Lackey is doing a decent job. Top of the ninth, I want to see Papplebon (I know he might not play, but this is fantasy) get ripped for back-to-back-to-back-to-back homeruns by Garrett, Tex, Vlad, and Hunter--all with two outs and two strikes.

Then I want our closer Frankie to serve up three straight gopher balls that each outfielder goes over the wall to catch.

Top that!

I would hope for good insurance coverage for the cardiac failure your scenario would cause

I would also pay an immense sum of money to see GA go over the Green Monster to take back a HR, especially after seeing his 2" vertical leap on display last night.

GA would be too lazy to climb the green monster

he’d knock it down so that he wouldn’t have to make that jump.

If GA wasn't so Lazy, I'd have something clever here.

I knew someone would think of that!

OK, so maybe he comes way over from left because Torii fell down.

Nolan Ryan for president!

Wow your giving him a 2 inch vertical?

Not so sure you could slide a dime under that so called leap he attempted.

I want them to score early and often and take both bullpens out of the equation. Make things easy and let Jepsen get an inning on the bump and see Wood get a token AB because the score is 11-2 Angels after the 7th

I don't want to have to wait to beat Papshmear

Angels go up early and hold the lead all the way through…

Angels win 4-1

Lackey goes 8 1/3 and Frankie closes the game with two quick outs!

Bring it back to the Big A

YES WE CAN
YES WE CAN

Could be work, could be baseball...but I got Spring Fever!!!!!

hmmm...

i’d have Lester get shelled for 7 runs in the first – Figgy and GA single, Tex doubles in a run, Vlad rips a homer, Torii doubles, Napoli homers, Rivera homers. Lester lifted.

the Angels continue the offensive dominance, scoring 14 on the night. Another homer by Vlad, a deep shot from Tex…doubles all over the place.

Lackey goes complete game 1-hit shutout.

Kotch would've had that.

This is way too stressful for my liking. I’ll take the Lackey perfect game.

looking like a familiar prediction now.

A 12-2 ass beating

The Angels may have beat them 8 times in a row, but winning three before they do is all that matters.
