If the Angels have anyone to blame for their regret on the money given Morales, it’s themselves. He’s proven his capability in the minor leagues time and time again, and has rarely been given a fair chance at the Major League level. He’s only being paid a total of 7.5 million over 6 years, so there’s hardly any reason for real regret at this point, as he could easily make up the worth of that contract in the remaining two years. Either way, the ‘lost’ money on that contract is due to the misuse of Morales, not his failure to contribute.

I want to here what you have to say about Alexi Ramirez. You probably would have said, “its like handing free agent money to a high school player, that has been playing high school ball for 13 years. You have no idea how its going to work out.”

And the Angels are stupid for not using Morales since he got here. He better than Alexei in Cuba, he homered in his first “pro” at bat, and has hit for HIGH average everywhere, even in the MLB when the Angels gave him somewhat consistant playing time last year. Im sure he would have hit 300+ last year if he would have played every day. Do disrespect to Krotch Rocket, He played good last year and this year for the Halos.
